New Tank, New Approach

Just picked up a 34g Solana this Saturday off of Craigslist. After two trips back and forth from Woodland Hills to Long Beach (1 hour each way), I was finally to the point of being able to lay everything out and start putting things back together.

Here's what all came with the tank:
  • 34g Solana w/ Stand
  • 15lbs. of Live Rock
  • 30lbs of Live Sand
  • Hydor Koralia 1 Powerhead
  • Common Clown Fish
  • Coral Banded Shrimp
  • 2x250w MH Ballast
  • 250w MH 20000K Blue Bulb
  • Coralife 10000k MH250w/U/T15 Ultra
  • Test Kits
Pretty much, it was a great deal. I was hoping to do some more research and do this tank at a much slower pace than my 60g but I couldn't pass on this.

Just got the tank and stand set up, time to start aquascaping.

Live Rock

I set the pendant light up the same way the previous owner had it. It'll work for now, still not 100% this is how I want to keep it.

Still working on my photography skills.

Tried to get the clown fish and shrimp in the same picture
